Project Statement

This project is one of consciously unconscious composition.

Beginning with an exploration in abstract color, shape, form and light, it resides beyond the boundaries of a prescribed box or pre-determined destination.

Pairing abstract imagery with scenes captured within nature, allows for an unexpected conversation. In its essence – nature is in a constant state of re-creation, re-newal, change and evolution. It exists – untamed, untethered, wild and free. Likewise - that same energy is echoed in the joy, freedom and unpredictability in a non-linear realm of soft curves. The stillness in their form is balanced by nature’s never-ending motion. Their spirit is stilled by nature’s silent voice. Within this context, there is no beginning or end. It continues to live in the unpredictable constancy of its never-ending circles and cycles.
